Work Insurance Policy

IA Remodeling acts solely as a bridge between homeowners and independent contractors, facilitating communication between both parties. We do not perform any construction work directly.

  1. Contractor Insurance Requirements
  • General Liability Insurance
  • Workers’ Compensation Insurance (if applicable)
  • Bonding and Licensing as required by state law
  1. Homeowner Responsibilities
  • We strongly recommend that both homeowners be present during the estimate process to discuss the project details with the contractor.
  • Homeowners should request and verify the contractor’s license, insurance, and any other relevant credentials when they arrive for the estimate.
  • Contractors will never arrive unannounced. All estimates are scheduled in advance and confirmed with the homeowner.
  1. IA Remodeling’s Role and Limitations
  • IA Remodeling is not responsible for the quality of the contractor’s work, project timelines, pricing, or contractual obligations between the homeowner and contractor.
  • Our role is strictly to affiliate homeowners with professional contractors; we do not provide warranties or guarantees on the work performed.
  • Any disputes regarding workmanship, project delays, or contract violations must be resolved directly between the homeowner and contractor.
